How much luggage can guests bring on the boat
Each passenger can take two carry on and one large check-in type bag.
Can golf clubs be taken on the speed boat?
Yes, but oversized bags have extra weight and require small added fee.
How many seats are available on the speed boat
There are 14 seats available
Are drinks served during the transport?
Yes we have a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Some of the options include spice rum, coconut rum, white rum, vodka, whisky, white wines, red wine, beer selections, coke, coke zero, sprite, diet sprite, ginger ale, club soda, and when available special rum runner mix.
Why is this service different than the Airport Ferry Transfer
The ferry is not a private transfer, the ferry offers a larger vessel with many more passenger seating that does not drop-off at all resort docks. The ferry offers drop-off at certain marinas then guest(s) are transferred by ground the balance of the transfer. The ferry also has a 1 time departure for all guests
What if the weather is too bad for an Airport Speed Boat Transfe
All guest will be refunded if the transfer service is not available with ground transfer recommendations will be provided.
How long does it take to get to the resorts
Based on where you resort is located, and how many guest are aboard, the first stop at Sugar beach takes about 20 minutes, then Jade Mountain another 10 minutes, and other resorts along the coastline could take up to 1 hour and 20 minutes to drop guests off at The Landings and Grand Sandals. Make sure to review the section called “Transfer Schedule” to know airport to resort drop off estimated times and pick up from resort to airport estimated times.
What clothing should be worn?
Keep in mind that you will be taking your excursion on an openair speedboat, and you are traveling on the ocean with changing weather conditions. You are traveling to a tropical island in the Caribbean where sudden rain showers can occur while at sea. By Sea suggest considering bringing a light poncho or rain gear for your entire trip, and long sleeve shirt to help with sun exposure, along with sunscreen. The speedboat has a canopy with some shade but not all seats will have shade during the excursion.
